THE PERSON BEHIND
Hello! My name's Annisa and I am 28 years old Indonesian living in Germany. Thank you for visiting my personal lifestyle-writing-photography blog! I am an AFS returnee & volunteer, aspiring minimalist, writer, and lifestyle blogger. Honestly, when I was a teenager I couldn't really tell what my passions in life are. At 13 years old, I started writing what you can call poems, poetry, and songs in my Harry Potter notebooks (blogging wasn't a thing back in 2006). I was a very secretive and introvert child, grew up in a normal yet complicated childhood, caught up in my own fantasy world between Hogwarts and Narnia. Since then, I found my self an escape while pouring my heart out through literature. I could write anything I felt and thought without being judged or questioned by people about what's going on my twisted mind.
At 17 I went to Germany on an AFS Exchange Student Program. During my one year journey in the European wonderlands I built an interest for Photography, Traveling, Language, and Intercultural understanding while learning to open myself up more to others.
When I finished high-school in 2012 I was still in doubt of my passion, unlike anybody else. Literature still seemed so unlikely to be a "future career". In the meanwhile I started studying Computer Science and there was the time I decided to create my first blog in 2013. After quite self-successfully blogging, writing and uploading my works, I felt somehow relieved even though there wasn't many audience reading them. Loads of things happened and it hit me in 2015. So many internal battle and problems coming and stressing myself out. Unfortunately, it is including my blog. I had suffered a very devastating situation when I found out my writing blog (annevenstar.blog.com) was lost and all of my writing posts are gone. Literally. After a long time of considering and procrastinating whether or not I should switch my writing ‘blog’ to a new ‘site’, I have finally came to a conclusion where I accepted the fact that immediately, I got to move all of my writings, straight on from their old pages all the way to their new ‘home’. I didn't back-up all the posts that I posted (again, unfortunately). So I gotta start over from only what I have in my hard-disk and what's left in my head.
I apologise to everyone who tried to visit annevenstar.blog.com - unfortunately it is STILL in coma while having an eternal “ 502 Bad Gateway” disease which I can’t recover from ever since. Now here we are! I will try my best to move on from my old state to this new one adding might as well beauty and fashion posts, nevertheless every single writing and stuff I previously posted on my old blog along with a separated photography gallery.
