REVOLVING DOOR

Updated: Nov 23, 2018

Spent my whole life wandering

from one place to another

ended up nowhere I ever imagined

Spent my young eyes staring

looking up at starry nights

Believed all those wishes would be true someday

under the northern skies

Spent my restless nights wondering

what if home was never a place

Seemed like my thoughts all washed out

Trapped in my own head

trying to let these words fly from its cage

Spent my whole life going round the revolving door

cause no matter where I go, my consciousness would never rest

until it found a road that leads to you

Moments I could never relieve again

kept replaying like a broken tape

Never planned on falling

but I'd never stop loving you

Never thought hearing your voice would tear me

every flashing memory, from a time where everything's frozen

I miss my young heart

how I left it on your door

when it still could run wild

Despite all the whirlwind

gone before I blink

As much as I had all the reason to leave

Liars never pay

with no words left to say
